Posted - Fri, 8 June 2007 @ 03:26 I liked final doom the most I think, no reason over the others (not played half of them you listed) but I enjoyed that the most... oh and you missed out the doom movie!
Posted - Sat, 23 June 2007 @ 12:33 I liked all the dooms but I thought that Final Doom was interesting enough with some the newer levels that they created and I even liked the music in that one.
Posted - Sun, 24 June 2007 @ 09:04 I never played the new new new new doom, I remember my computer running half life 2 perfect on top graphics and top resolution, then downloading doom, setting everything to min res, min graphics and having it jerk like crazy even tho it was a lower spec game lol
Posted - Fri, 29 June 2007 @ 13:45 is this doom 1993 version or doom 3 2003 version? if it's doom 1993 version, i had a problem like that i have a mac copy of master levells for doom 2 i might upload it i'm a collector and i haven't opened it yet might not it has twenty levels for doom 2 +maximum doom with over 2000 doom wads from the net
Posted - Fri, 29 June 2007 @ 22:28 Doom 3 never had too many problems on my computer at times there would be a problem with the video but then it had to do a video recovery I think it was called VCU but it only did it once but I could not run it anything above medium detail or else it would start chugging. I had to keep it at low detail for smooth acceleration which I also did that when I played Farcry which that one had bigger levels and much more detail so it would make sense to do that. What's your computer specs munky
Posted - Sat, 30 June 2007 @ 16:42 I liked the jDoom source port with the 3D graphics.
Posted - Sat, 30 June 2007 @ 18:55 i could never get that to work jdoom was a waste of my time

Posted - Thu, 5 July 2007 @ 15:47 [QUOTE=impcnrd] [QUOTE=Munky]I liked final doom the most I think, no reason over the others (not played half of them you listed) but I enjoyed that the most... Well that is what happens when you don't get a director that plays the actual games to see what they look like that way when they make it they would be able to implement those ideas into the movie I did have to say this I like what they did with the first person view part it look really neat almost like an actual FPS but they did not put all of the monsters in the movie like they should have put more monsters in there such as the lost souls, barons of hell, cacodemons, Archviles, and even the missile launching revenants should have been in there but all that was there were the zombies, imps and one pinky demon which they should have made it look like the exact one from doom three I mean the top half looked like it but not the bottom half.
Posted - Fri, 6 July 2007 @ 19:14 no no the movie was actually quite good, the rock being in it had alot to do with that but it is stil a good movie I think, espesh when it goes into first person mode, looks cool
Posted - Fri, 6 July 2007 @ 22:21 I wanted to vote for all of the above..... The unrated dvd is good too. cgi and puppets... One of the extras is a doom 3 demo for the xbox. impcnrd can get the maximum doom wads from the mac cd. Yay! The only way I could play them was a mac emulator.
Posted - Sun, 30 September 2007 @ 02:47 Doom95 (which is Ultimate Doom, Doom2, Final Doom) the reason: the LAN mode works between my 2 computers one runs 98 and the other runs XP. Got them when I went and bought DOOM3 when it first came out. |
