doom trouble

After downloading doom II I'll go to run it and i get a message

'This system does not support fullscreen mode. Choose 'close' to terminate the application.'

with that box is gives me two options close and ignore

any help

Download and install Dosbox0.72. After installing, drag the Doom2.exe icon and drop it on the Dosbox shortcut. This will open the game in a Dosbox window. To go full screen just press alt + enter.
