This is a "Hunt the Wumpus" predecessor (the source code is actually from 1979, predating the IBM PC entirely). In fact it's more sophisticated the Wumpus with a larger variety of actions you can perform, with instructions built-in and even an automap! Above all, it's actually quite good fun to play.
